Result

Well, we managed to get all the documents together we needed and have now successfully applied for Beth and Lex's permanent residency! They have exit visas in their passports and tickets booked to fly the day after tomorrow (Tuesday 28th)! Their itinerary is as follows:

11:30 (06:30 in UK) - 1.5hr flight from Kostanay to Astana (capital of Kazakhstan)

3hr wait in Astana

15:50 (10:50 in UK) - 6hr flight from Astana to Frankfurt, Germany

3.5hr wait in Frankfurt

21:35 (01:35 in Kaz; 20:35 in UK) - 1hr45min flight to Manchester

Car journey back to Dewsbury!


Please pray for them as they journey, that Beth will manage with a very active toddler and a bump in confined conditions, and for Sergey as he's left behind. He hopes to come to the UK later, perhaps mid-June - watch this space for further details.
