Introducing the Church

The church rents a room in a children's centre to meet every Sunday morning (10am, that's 4am BST).

These pics were taken at the end of November 2008. At that time there were 19 members. Sadly, since then we have lost 5 members due to a case of unrepentant sin and the ensuing repercussions (not everyone was in agreement with the disciplinary action taken). We are hopeful that some or all of those members will eventually return to us, but it is a very hard time for the church. Also, a man who attended the church (Sergey Terentev, in the middle of the first photo, wearing a suit), a believer who was struggling with persistent sin, was killed just before Christmas in a mugging. We believe in this way God showed mercy and ended his earthly struggle, but again it has been a shock for those left behind. He was the third of three sons to die tragically in the space of 2 years. His mother is not a believer but the church is endeavouring to maintain contact and bring some comfort.
